Under the coordination of Kadışehir District Governor’s Office, the boundaries of Kabalı Village lands were combined in 2012 by the District Directorate of Food, Agriculture and Livestock, and 803 parcels belonging to 352 people and a total area of 5,345 decares were consolidated on a voluntary basis, and a modern and integrated orchard investment was completed in this area by using all public resources.

However, frost and hail damage, which is one of the natural disasters that damage agricultural production the most, is unfortunately seen quite often in our region. For this purpose, the hail ball project, which is the most effective method to protect our integrated orchard against hail damage, has been prepared.

The project of preventing hail damage thanks to the early warning meteorology radar station and hail cannon in integrated orchards that we have prepared has been submitted to the Ministry of Industry and Technology KOP Regional Development Administration. Within the scope of the accepted project, 3 (three) hail bombs with an early warning system, each of which protects an area of 1,000 (thousand) decares against hail damage, were received.

Thanks to the hail bomb project, it will be protected against hail disaster, which is a great risk for this integrated fruit project, whose investment is made with public resources, to benefit from the advantages of the size of the enterprise, and the land owners who put their human capital together by consolidating the land parcels. In the short and long term, it will contribute to the economy of our region and our country. In addition, quantity and quality problems of the products produced within the scope of the project will be prevented. 15,000 (fifteen thousand) tons of homogeneous and exportable quality fruit will be produced annually. In addition, fruit trees will be prevented from being damaged and they will be productive for a long time. As a result, it will set an example for other similar projects and the agricultural areas in our country will be protected with hail.
